    Reminder

    The Summer Showdown is coming up this Saturday June 24th. Classes are cancelled for that day, but please come out to cheer on our athletes. Please email Anna@crossfitwinnipeg.com if you want to get involves.

    Spring Leaning Awards

    This year’s Spring Leaning was a huge success. We are wrapping up the challenge with awards and Q&A this coming Thursday at 7PM.  All challenge participants, and friends and family are welcome, as well as all of our members. We’re not planning a WOD or a potluck, just keeping it simple with a Q & A and awards.

  • Programming

    Our focus for the CrossFit Group programming for month of June will be scapular stability. How we are able to control the position of our should blades during CrossFit exercises plays an important role in shoulder health, so we’ll be taking some time in June for some drills that will help with all of our overhead lifts, as well as gymnastics movements. You’ll be seeing this mostly in the prep component of the workout, and sometimes in the skill & strength component.

    Monday: Testing – Deadlift + Conditioning

    Tuesday: Training – Gymnastics + Conditioning

    Wednesday: Training – Longer Conditioning

    Thursday: Testing – Back Squat + Conditioning

    Friday: Practice – Push Press/Jerk + Conditioning

    Saturday: Closed for Summer Showdown

    Sunday: Make up a workout you missed or do the benchmark of the week.
